Image Rotator

Rotate an image by 90°, 180°, or 270° and export it as PNG.

How to use

  1. Choose an image, select 90, 180, or 270 degrees, run, and download the PNG result.

Capabilities and scope

The canvas is translated to its center and rotated before redrawing the bitmap; 90° and 270° swap output width and height.

How it works

drawPreview rotates the canvas coordinate system, draws the bitmap, then the normal image-output path encodes image/png with canvas.toBlob.

Example

Rotating a 1200×800 image by 90° creates an 800×1200 PNG.

Useful for

  • Correct the orientation of a photo or scan in right-angle steps

Before you use it

  • Arbitrary angles are unsupported and PNG re-encoding does not preserve original JPEG/WebP metadata, compression characteristics, or animation.

Frequently asked questions
