Image Information
Inspect an image's pixel width and height, MIME type, and file size in the browser.
How to use
- Choose one image and run to inspect pixel dimensions and basic file information.
Capabilities and scope
The selected image is decoded with createImageBitmap so its actual bitmap dimensions can be shown beside File.type and size.
How it works
For an image up to 100 MB, ImageBitmap width/height are read and combined with MIME and 1024-based file-size formatting.
Example
A 1920×1080 JPEG reports 1920×1080px, image/jpeg, and its file size.
Useful for
- Check actual pixel dimensions and file size before upload or resizing
Before you use it
- EXIF, ICC profiles, DPI, animation frames, and camera metadata are not parsed, and the browser must be able to decode the image.
Frequently asked questions
Does it show EXIF orientation or camera data?
No. It currently reports bitmap dimensions, MIME type, and file size only.
