Image Crop Editor
Crop only a dragged or manually entered X/Y/width/height region and save it as PNG.
How to use
- Open an image up to 100 MB, drag a region or edit advanced coordinates, then crop the selected area.
Capabilities and scope
The dedicated crop runner maps displayed-canvas pointer coordinates back to native bitmap pixels and redraws the selected rectangle onto a separate canvas.
How it works
The source rectangle is drawn at 0,0 on an output canvas; output width and height are rounded and encoded as a PNG Blob.
Example
Selecting X=100, Y=50, width=400, height=300 from a 1000×800 image produces roughly a 400×300 PNG.
Useful for
- Crop a needed region from a screenshot or photo locally
Before you use it
- Output is always PNG; metadata and animation outside the rasterized selection are not preserved, and invalid manual coordinates can fail.
Frequently asked questions
Are drag coordinates CSS pixels?
No. Pointer positions are mapped to the original bitmap dimensions and used as source-image pixel coordinates.
