World Time Converter

Display a device-local date and time as the corresponding date and time in a selected world time zone.

How to use

  1. Enter a date and time in the current device's local zone.
  2. Choose the destination time zone.
  3. Calculate to see the destination's full date and time.

Capabilities and scope

Convert one absolute instant into the local clock representation for provided zones such as Seoul, Tokyo, London, and New York using `Intl` time-zone data.

How it works

The zone-less input is parsed as a device-local `Date`. That same instant is then formatted with `Intl.DateTimeFormat` using the selected IANA `timeZone`.

Example

The same instant formatted for `Asia/Seoul` and `America/New_York` can fall on different calendar dates.

Useful for

  • Compare international meeting times
  • Check local time at a travel destination
  • Verify date changes across zones for one instant

Before you use it

  • Only 12 predefined zones are available; there is no city search.
  • The source zone cannot be selected separately because the input is interpreted in the device's current local zone.

Frequently asked questions

Can I select the source time zone too?

No. The input is interpreted in the device-local zone and only the destination zone is selectable.

Does it account for DST?

The browser's `Intl` time-zone data applies the selected date's DST rule where available.
