Vibration Tester
Request a user-defined millisecond vibration/pause pattern through the Web Vibration API when supported.
How to use
- Check that support is reported, choose a preset or enter a pattern, then press Test vibration.
Capabilities and scope
The runner accepts up to ten integers from 0–10000 ms separated by commas/whitespace and offers Short, Double, Long presets plus Stop.
How it works
After validating the array, navigator.vibrate(values) is called; Stop uses navigator.vibrate(0).
Example
120,80,120 requests about 120 ms vibration, 80 ms pause, then 120 ms vibration.
Useful for
- Check web vibration behavior and timing patterns on supported devices such as Android
Before you use it
- There is no separate permission-request API here, browsers/OS may ignore requests, and vibration amplitude/intensity cannot be specified.
Frequently asked questions
Why is there no permission popup?
This implementation calls navigator.vibrate and has no separate vibration-permission request step.
