N-gram Generator
Generate overlapping word N-grams by grouping each consecutive run of N parsed words.
How to use
- Enter text and the desired N value, then run.
Capabilities and scope
N defaults to 2 and is clamped to at least 1; a sliding window advances one word at a time.
How it works
At each index the tool emits list.slice(i,i+n).join(' ') while a full N-word window remains.
Example
one two three with N=2 produces one two and two three.
Useful for
- Create simple consecutive-word patterns or model inputs
Before you use it
- Sentence boundaries are not specially blocked, so tokens from adjacent sentences can share an N-gram window.
Frequently asked questions
What if N exceeds the word count?
No complete window exists, so the result is empty.
