CSV Viewer

Read CSV/TSV-style files as a table and filter rows by text found in any cell.

How to use

  1. Choose the file, correct delimiter/header settings, and enter a row-filter query if needed.

Capabilities and scope

The dedicated viewer auto-detects or manually selects comma, tab, semicolon, or pipe delimiters and can toggle whether the first row is a header.

How it works

A custom parser handles quoted fields, doubled quotes, and CRLF; after empty-row removal it keeps up to 5,000 rows and renders at most 1,000 filtered rows.

Example

A CSV beginning with name, age becomes a two-column table that can be narrowed by a search term.

Useful for

  • Inspect a small CSV/TSV structure and rows containing a particular value

Before you use it

  • Auto delimiter detection counts separator characters on the first line and cannot infer every dialect; rows after the first 5,000 are not loaded.

Frequently asked questions

What if more than 1,000 rows match?

The match count is reported, but only the first 1,000 filtered rows are rendered for browser performance.
