Shuffle Lines
Shuffle the order of input lines using browser cryptographic random values.
How to use
- Enter the lines to randomize and run the shuffle.
Capabilities and scope
A copy of the line array is rearranged with backwards swaps driven by crypto.getRandomValues.
How it works
The runner performs a Fisher-Yates-style swap at each index using a random j.
Example
A B C can become C A B, with a new order possible on each run.
Useful for
- Randomize draw lists or study-item order
Before you use it
- There is no seed for reproducible shuffles, and random chance can produce a previously seen order.
Frequently asked questions
Does it change the line contents?
No. Each line string is preserved; only line positions are rearranged.
