Screen Information

Display screen size, devicePixelRatio, viewport size, and color depth exposed by the current browser.

How to use

  1. Open the page and inspect the values reported for the current tab and display environment.

Capabilities and scope

The basic runner reads screen.width/height, devicePixelRatio, innerWidth/innerHeight, and screen.colorDepth.

How it works

Screen dimensions are reported in CSS pixels, viewport from window inner dimensions, alongside DPR and color depth.

Example

Even on a 1920×1080 physical panel, OS scaling and browser behavior can produce different CSS-pixel screen values.

Useful for

  • Quickly inspect viewport and DPR before responsive UI testing

Before you use it

  • This is not guaranteed physical-panel resolution, measured DPI, or HDR capability and can be affected by zoom, OS scaling, and browser UI.

Frequently asked questions

Are screen dimensions the monitor's physical pixel count?

Not necessarily. They are the screen dimensions the browser exposes in CSS pixels.
