Click Speed Test
Count clicks during an explicitly started five-second window and calculate CPS.
How to use
- Press Start test, then click or tap the active large area as fast as possible for five seconds.
Capabilities and scope
The dedicated runner uses performance.now() for a 5,000 ms window, refreshes timing every 50 ms, and shows count÷5 as one-decimal CPS after finishing.
How it works
Start resets count to zero; only taps before 5000 ms increment it, and final CPS=count/5.
Example
42 clicks in five seconds produces 8.4 CPS.
Useful for
- Compare repeated-click speed under the same mouse or touch setup
Before you use it
- Hardware, browser event processing, and input method affect the result; the tool does not detect auto-clickers or judge cheating.
Frequently asked questions
Does the first click start the timer?
No. The current runner starts its five-second timer from the separate Start test button.
