Capabilities and scope
The default is 225 WPM, adjustable from 20 to 1000, and locale-aware Intl.Segmenter is preferred for ko, en, and ja.
How it works
Word count is divided by WPM, converted to seconds, rounded, and displayed with word count and the applied rate.
Example
450 words at 225 WPM is about two minutes.

Before you use it
- Reading rate varies by person, language, and difficulty; environments without Segmenter fall back to whitespace splitting.

Is 225 WPM fixed?
No. It is only the default and can be changed from 20 to 1000 WPM.
