Pomodoro Timer
Run a configurable focus/break Pomodoro sequence through the final focus round.
How to use
- Set focus minutes, break minutes, and rounds.
- Start the focus interval.
- Let phases switch automatically, pausing or resetting when needed.
Capabilities and scope
It starts at 25 minutes focus, 5 minutes break, and 4 rounds, with all three settings editable.
How it works
A completed focus phase switches to break; a completed break advances to the next focus round. When the final focus round reaches zero, the sequence completes without an extra trailing break and plays a short completion tone.
Example
At 25/5 minutes for 4 rounds: focus1 → break → focus2 → break → focus3 → break → focus4 → complete.
Useful for
- Divide focused work into timed blocks
- Alternate study and breaks
- Experiment with personal focus/break lengths
Before you use it
- There is no separate long-break rule from some Pomodoro variants; every break uses the same configured length.
- Browser timers can be throttled in background or sleep states.
Frequently asked questions
