Ladder Game
Create a random bridge ladder for 2–10 players and the same number of results, then reveal the assignments.
How to use
- Enter equal counts of players and results, create the ladder, then press Reveal results when ready.
Capabilities and scope
The release ladder scans 12 rows and adds adjacent bridges with a roughly 38% candidate condition while avoiding neighboring bridge collisions on the same row.
How it works
Web Crypto randomUint decides bridge candidates; swaps are applied row by row to determine which top origin reaches each bottom result.
Example
With two players and two results, each player reaches exactly one result according to the generated bridges.
Useful for
- Show simple assignments, penalties, or order draws in a familiar ladder format
Before you use it
- The bridge process is not claimed to generate every permutation with perfectly uniform probability, and 2–10 equal-sized lists are required.
Frequently asked questions
Does editing an entry keep the old ladder?
No. Editing players or results invalidates the existing bridges and mapping, so a new ladder must be generated.
