Random Team Generator
Shuffle two or more candidates and distribute them round-robin into two or more teams.
How to use
- Enter participants and team count, then press Create teams.
Capabilities and scope
The enhanced runner uses a Web-Crypto-backed shuffle, then cycles through team indexes to keep sizes as even as possible.
How it works
A Fisher-Yates-style shuffle is followed by assigning mixed[index % teamCount].
Example
Eight people into three teams produces sizes such as 3, 3, and 2.
Useful for
- Randomly divide class or game participants
Before you use it
- Skill, role, gender, preference, and other balancing constraints are not considered.
Frequently asked questions
Are team sizes always identical?
Not when the count is not divisible; round-robin keeps the difference to at most about one.
