Random Date Generator
Generate 1–100 random dates between a start-day 00:00 and end-day 23:59:59.999.
How to use
- Choose start date, end date, and count, then Generate.
Capabilities and scope
The enhanced runner defaults from roughly one year ago through today and outputs ISO YYYY-MM-DD dates.
How it works
A random millisecond in the range is selected and new Date(ms).toISOString().slice(0,10) becomes the output.
Example
A January 2026 range can produce 2026-01-17.
Useful for
- Create bounded date samples for fixtures or forms
Before you use it
- The bounds are built from local dates but output is sliced from UTC ISO, so time-zone edges can shift the displayed calendar date.
Frequently asked questions
Can the end date be selected?
The millisecond range includes the end day's last millisecond, though time-zone conversion still matters.
