How it works
It applies input.replace(/[\p{P}\p{S}]/gu,'').
Example
Hello, $5! becomes roughly Hello 5 because comma, dollar sign, and exclamation mark are removed.

- Strip punctuation and symbols before simple text analysis

- Currency signs, math symbols, and many emoji are also removed, so review output if you intended punctuation-only cleanup.
