The current implementation shares the random-hex path with tokens and adds no prefix, key ID, or checksum.
How it works
Random bytes from crypto.getRandomValues are hex-encoded and sliced to the requested length.
Example
A requested length of 32 yields a 32-character lowercase hex key candidate.

Before you use it
- This does not implement issuance, permissions, storage, rotation, or revocation for a real API-key system.

Can I treat this as a complete production API key solution?
No. It creates only the random string; lifecycle and secure storage remain application responsibilities.
