Terms of Use
Effective 2026-08-19. These Terms describe the conditions for using Murelio, a personal project operated by HRuin.
1. Purpose and scope
These Terms explain the basic conditions between Murelio and users of the website, tools, related content, public statistics, and support channels.
A tool may include additional notices or conditions relevant to that specific use. Third-party services are also subject to the terms of their respective providers.
2. Nature of the service
Murelio is a browser-based utility service that can provide calculation, conversion, text processing, file processing, generation, analysis, testing, and similar functions without requiring installation or registration.
General tools are currently provided free of charge. Free availability does not guarantee that every feature and operating model will remain unchanged permanently.
3. Eligibility and age
Murelio does not impose a general age restriction. Users remain responsible for complying with laws, guardian-consent requirements, workplace rules, school rules, or device-use restrictions applicable to their circumstances.
All users, including minors, should avoid publishing personal or sensitive information in public support channels.
4. Accounts and authentication
Ordinary Murelio tools do not currently require a Murelio membership account, password, or persistent service profile.
Third-party support channels such as GitHub or email may involve separate third-party accounts and terms.
5. User inputs and files
Users must have lawful authority to use text, files, images, code, and other material submitted to a tool. Users should not process another person’s copyrighted material, personal information, trade secrets, or other protected information without appropriate permission or legal basis.
Users retain their rights in their own inputs and files. Running a tool does not transfer ownership of that material to Murelio.
6. Permitted use
Tools may be used for lawful personal, educational, professional, creative, research, development, and everyday tasks.
Where accuracy is important, users should review the stated criteria and independently verify results using official sources or qualified professionals as appropriate.
7. Prohibited use
Users must not violate law, infringe third-party rights, distribute malware, bypass security, access systems without authorization, disrupt Murelio or third parties, generate excessive automated traffic, exploit vulnerabilities, commit fraud, or use the service deceptively.
The fact that a technical function is available does not make every possible use of that function lawful or permitted. Users are responsible for unlawful use of outputs they generate or transform.
8. Accuracy and reference-only results
Results are checked for accuracy and consistency where practical, but may be affected by rounding, interpretation of inputs, reference dates, regional criteria, browser limitations, or changing external standards.
Murelio should not be the sole basis for medical, legal, tax, investment, financial, insurance, safety, or engineering decisions. Important matters require confirmation from official sources and qualified professionals.
9. Random, generator, and test tools
Roulette, drawing, random generation, and game-style tools provide results based on the configured inputs and tool behavior. They should not automatically be treated as certified lottery systems, regulated random-number services, or guarantees of fairness for financial or legal purposes.
Device test tools operate only within capabilities exposed by the browser and do not replace professional hardware diagnostic equipment.
10. Changes and availability
The operator may change or discontinue tools, layouts, scope, policies, or advertising status for improvement, security, maintenance, external changes, cost, or operational reasons.
Murelio aims for reasonable availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service or permanent availability of every tool.
11. Intellectual property
The Murelio name, brand assets, original interface design, editorial explanations, and other original content may be protected by rights held by the operator or legitimate third parties. Users may not impersonate Murelio or create confusion about the source of the service without authorization.
Where third-party or open-licensed materials are used, their specific license and attribution terms apply.
12. External links and third parties
Murelio may link to third-party services for support, advertising, or references. Content, accounts, payments, privacy practices, and availability of those external services are managed by the relevant provider.
A link does not mean Murelio guarantees all content, products, or actions of the external service.
13. Advertising
Murelio is currently undergoing Google AdSense review and monetized ad slots remain disabled. AdSense connection code and publisher-verification information may be present on pages for site connection and review, but Murelio does not enable monetized ad slots before approval. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy will be updated again when advertising is actually enabled after approval.
When ads are active, any transaction involving an advertiser’s product or service is between the user and the relevant third party. Murelio does not directly guarantee the quality or performance of advertised products or services.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Murelio does not assume unlimited liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from free tool use, inability to use a tool, incorrect user input, result errors, device or browser differences, or third-party service failures.
This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including where mandatory law applies.
15. User responsibility
Users are responsible for their inputs, verification of outputs, backups, use of results, third-party rights, and compliance with law. Important source files should be backed up before processing.
Browser download restrictions, insufficient device storage, or similar environment issues can prevent successful saving. Users should confirm that important results were actually saved.
16. Support and reports
Use public GitHub Support for ordinary bug reports and feature requests. Send personal information, security-sensitive material, and rights-infringement matters to [email protected].
Submitting a support request does not guarantee a particular resolution time, feature implementation, data recovery, or individualized professional advice.
17. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when law, functionality, or service operation changes. The current effective date is displayed, and material user-facing changes may also be reflected in related policies and the changelog.
Users should review the current Terms when relevant. Continued use after a change may be subject to the updated Terms.
18. Governing law and disputes
To the extent applicable, Murelio and these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory laws in another jurisdiction may apply where they cannot lawfully be excluded.
Users are encouraged to contact support first to clarify facts and possible resolution. Unresolved disputes may proceed through procedures available under applicable law.
