Paint Calculator
Estimate paint litres from rectangular wall area, coat count, product coverage, and waste allowance.
How to use
- Enter wall width and height in metres and choose coat count.
- Enter product coverage in m²/L and waste allowance, then calculate.
Capabilities and scope
The current runner models one width×height wall and multiplies by coats before applying coverage and allowance.
How it works
litres = width×height×coats / coverage × (1+waste/100).
Example
A 4m×2.4m wall, 2 coats, 10m²/L, and 10% allowance needs about 2.112L.
Useful for
- Estimate paint purchase quantity
- Compare products with different coverage rates
Before you use it
- Doors/windows are not automatically subtracted and absorbency/application method are not modeled.
