Capabilities and scope
The current runner accepts A(x1,y1) and B(x2,y2), not merely two scalar values.
How it works
Midpoint is ((x1+x2)/2,(y1+y2)/2); distance uses Math.hypot(x2−x1,y2−y1).
Example
A=(0,0) and B=(10,10) give midpoint (5,5) and distance about 14.1421.

- Find the center coordinate of a line segment
- Inspect midpoint and separation for two Cartesian points
Before you use it
- It assumes a planar Cartesian system and is not a geographic midpoint for latitude/longitude.
