JSON to CSV
Convert an array of JSON objects into CSV-like text using the union of all object keys as columns.
How to use
- Enter a JSON array of objects and run the conversion.
Capabilities and scope
The header joins keys with commas, while each cell is JSON.stringify output and missing values become empty strings.
How it works
A union of Object.keys creates the header and every row serializes values in that shared column order.
Example
[{"a":1},{"a":2,"b":"x"}] creates an a,b header and two data rows.
Useful for
- Move simple JSON record arrays into table-like text
Before you use it
- Header escaping and full RFC CSV quoting are not implemented, so complex keys, nested objects, or multiline data may need further processing.
Frequently asked questions
Are nested objects flattened?
No. Nested values are serialized as JSON inside a cell.
